Jim began nurturing his natural talent in the Midwest at an early
age, gathering a crowd of classmates at school while playing tunes
on the piano during lunch and recess. As a young adult he joined a
traveling singing group and toured the United States, singing and
becoming the groups piano player, sometimes improvising for hours
during the inspirational meetings.Reflecting the atmosphere in
improvisation, Jim's signature art form and his rhythmic melodies
reflect the mood of the moment. His musical influences include
Fleetwood Mac, Abba, Pink Floyd, Manheim Steamroller, Air Supply,
George Winston, Yanni, David Benoit and Jim Brickman. His latest
recording Coming Home, a keyboard collaboration with soothing
melodies that stir the deepest images of life and love while
capturing the spirit of improvisation, has been widely received. He
continues to play for repeat engagements, special events, parties.
